FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IS THERE A MINIMUM QUANTITY REQUIRED FOR ON DEMAND PRINTING?
There are no minimums required to order our DTG or Full Colour Transfer printed t-shirts, so you get one for yourself or one for all your mates. For orders over 12pcs, screen printing maybe a better option. If you want to know which option is better for you, feel free to call us on 09 6200040 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss the options.
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
This depends on when you placed your order, but our On Demad printed orders are usually printed next day and delivered within 2-4 business days. If you live in Auckland you can request next day delivery if your order is received before 10 am. The average turnaround for our screen printing department is 5 days from the day your quote & art has been approved until it ships.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SCREEN PRINTING AND DIGITAL PRINTING?
We offer several digital Print processes and we will use the method that best suits your artwork.
DTG PRINTS: Best for prints on black with lots of colour and gradients. Our DTG Machine prints your design directly onto the garment using DuPont CMYK inks that have been specifically developed for cotton fabric. Similar to ink jet printers, this technique allows you to print millions of colours making it a perfect choice for full-colour photographs.
VINYL TRANSFERS: Best for prints with clean outlines, full colour and solid colour areas. Our 8 colour transfer printer uses a high-end soft Italian made vinyl.
Unlike screen printing which requires an extensive set up for each new design, Digital printing allows us to offer custom tees with no minimum order requirement. Screen printing is a more traditional t-shirt customisation method in which each colour in a design is separated and burned to individual fine-mesh screens. Ink is then transferred to the shirt through the screen. Screen printing is more cost-effective for printing large custom apparel orders.
HOW BIG CAN YOU PRINT?
Our digital printers can print your design up to 300mm x 400mm. If this is not big enough, our Screen Printing department offers oversize printing for orders over 20pcs.
CAN I SUPPLY MY OWN SHIRT?
We only print on shirts supplied through our online store for two reasons: it helps us process orders more efficiently, and it allows us to maintain cost-effectiveness. Unfortunately, due to the time and resources required for printing and processing customer supplied t-shirts, it too costly to print on your own shirt.
CAN YOU SCREEN PRINT MY ORDER?
Absolutely! If you want to order more than 12-20 garments our Screen Printing department can produce some exceptional results. For more information about our Screen Printing service and how to obtain a quote go to www.esponline.co.nz
HOW DURABLE ARE DIGITAL PRINTS?
Direct to Garment printing offers great colour fastness and washability, however, unlike a screen print which can handle being abused by hot wash cycles and hot dryers, a DTG print does require a little more care. Our transfers are more durable, but for both print methods we recommended washing your shirt inside out in a gentle cold wash and hang dry and NEVER TUMBLE DRY. For all printing methods NEVER iron the print, bleach or dry clean your shirt. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND DIGITAL FOR BUSINESS OR COMMERCIAL USE.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES AFTER MY ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED?
At ESP DIGITAL we aim to produce your shirts super quick, but unfortunately, that means we can't guarantee that changes can be made after you've submitted your order. To avoid issues, we recommend double-checking your order before you place it. Of course, if you do happen to make an error on your order, feel free to contact us on 09 6200040 or email us at email@example.com and we will do our best to help.
CAN I RESELL SHIRTS I'VE PURCHASED FROM ESP DIGITAL?
Of course! You can resell shirts you've purchased from ESP DIGITAL as long as they use a design you own the rights to or have permission to use for the purpose of reselling.
